Getting started

The Mac App Store release is being prepared. Downloads, subscriptions and trials are not yet available. Final system requirements will appear on the App Store listing.

Staxis uses .staxis project packages. Keep the package together when copying, moving or backing up a model. Choose a save location you can find again and keep a separate backup before major changes.

Reporting a problem

Tell us what you were trying to do, the steps that led to the problem, and what happened instead. Include your Staxis version/build, macOS version and Mac model if available.

A screenshot or a small demonstration model can help. Remove customer names, project addresses and other confidential information first. Only send a project file if you have permission to share it. Never send passwords, payment-card details or Apple verification codes.

Files and drawings

The first release is designed around user-controlled files. Save a project in iCloud Drive when you want to continue on a Mac or iPad; the chosen provider controls synchronisation and storage. Close the project on one device before editing it on another and wait for synchronisation to finish. Simultaneous multi-user editing is not included.

Review all model geometry, connections, dimensions, quantities and drawing outputs before relying on them. Support with the software is not a structural design check or fabrication approval.

Purchases and subscriptions

At launch, purchases and eligible trials are planned to run through Apple. Use the Apple Account that made the purchase when restoring access. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew until cancelled; lifetime is a separate one-off purchase.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple and request a refund from Apple. Refund eligibility depends on Apple’s process and applicable law. Buying lifetime does not automatically cancel an existing subscription; manage that subscription separately to avoid duplicate charges.

See the terms for planned prices, trial conditions and the scope of lifetime access.
