You may use this website to learn about Staxis and contact us. Do not misuse it, attempt unauthorised access or infringe intellectual property rights. Staxis branding, website content and product images are owned by Trade Insight Ltd or used with permission. Links to third-party services are governed by those services’ terms.

The app licence

At launch, the Mac app will be licensed under Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement unless a different agreement is explicitly provided with the listing. Apple’s applicable store terms govern App Store transactions. This page explains the intended product offering and does not replace or amend Apple’s licence.

Each purchase grants the rights described in the applicable licence and App Store terms. It is not an unlimited company-wide or multi-user licence. We do not promise Family Sharing or access on other platforms unless the listing explicitly includes it.

Planned prices and subscriptions

• Monthly: £29.99 per month, billed monthly.
• Annual: £299.99 per year, billed annually in advance.
• Lifetime: £1,199.99, paid once.

These are intended UK customer prices including applicable VAT, subject to confirmation of Apple’s price points. Prices in other countries are set in the relevant App Store currency. Apple will show the actual price and applicable conditions before you confirm a purchase.

Monthly and annual plans are intended to unlock the same Mac desktop modelling features while your subscription is active. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel through Apple at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period to avoid renewal. Cancelling renewal normally leaves access available until the paid period ends. Apple’s displayed transaction terms apply.

The planned 14-day trial

Eligible new subscribers will be offered 14 days of full subscription access without charge. After that, the selected plan will renew at £29.99 per month or £299.99 per year in the UK unless cancelled in time. Trial eligibility and availability will be determined through Apple; eligibility is not guaranteed for every account, and choosing a different billing period does not guarantee another trial.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid the first charge. Apple may end trial access when you cancel. Read the confirmation screen before subscribing. A lifetime purchase does not include a trial.

What lifetime includes

Lifetime means a permanent entitlement to use the Staxis Mac desktop product, with future updates released for that product included and no recurring desktop licence charge. It provides the same desktop modelling feature set as the subscription plans.

It does not include future cloud services, separately sold products, an iPad product, bespoke development or personal training. It is not a guarantee that updates will be developed forever, that the app will support every future operating system or device, or that download services will operate indefinitely. Applicable consumer rights and any rights under the app licence remain unaffected.

Purchasing lifetime does not automatically cancel an existing subscription. Manage any existing subscription through Apple to prevent overlapping charges. Restore purchases using the Apple Account associated with the purchase.

Models, drawings and professional review

Staxis is a modelling and drawing tool. It does not replace structural engineering, connection design, professional judgement, independent checking or statutory approval.

You are responsible for checking inputs and outputs, including geometry, profiles, materials, connections, bolts, welds, dimensions, quantities, fabrication information and suitability for the intended project. Have a suitably qualified person review and approve work before fabrication, erection or construction. Demonstration models and website drawings are illustrative and must not be used as construction instructions.

Keep appropriate backups of your project files. Website illustrations do not certify engineering compliance or guarantee that a particular workflow is suitable for your project.

Support, refunds and your rights

For product support contact legal@tradeinsight.uk. Email support does not include an engineering design service, guaranteed response times or unlimited training.

Apple handles App Store billing and refund requests. Visit Apple’s refund service for purchases made through Apple. Refund eligibility depends on the transaction, applicable law and Apple’s process; nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Statutory rights relating to digital content and services are not affected.

Changes and applicable law

We may update website information and these website terms, recording the revision date above. Updates will not retrospectively reduce rights already granted with a purchase. Any change to an existing subscription’s price must follow Apple’s applicable notice and consent process.

These website terms are governed by Scots law. Scottish courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without taking away mandatory protections or rights to bring proceedings in your place of residence where applicable law provides them. The app licence and App Store transaction terms contain their own governing provisions.
